CICERCHIE
An ancient legume, rich of proteins, vitamine and fibers; its caloric intake is very low but gives to the body an high energy intake. The cicerchie have excellent characteristics nutritional but their consumption mustn't be excessive, because contains a toxin which taken in high quantity is dangerous for the body. They have need of soaking for 12 hours and after cooked in savory water, are excellent in soups, in pasta or in added to the salads.
